Yevhenii Malik, a proud native of Poltava, Ukraine, served with honor as a Commander in the 36th Marine Brigade. His unwavering dedication to his country was evident through his active participation in numerous high-stakes international missions, where he demonstrated unparalleled courage and commitment. Driven by a deep sense of responsibility, he consistently put the defense of Ukraine’s sovereignty at the forefront of his efforts. With an unrelenting focus on ensuring the safety and future of his homeland, Yevhenii became an inspiration to all those who fought alongside him.
On April 14, 2024, Yevhenii was captured during the relentless and brutal siege of Mariupol, after having endured over a month of intense and grueling combat. The fighting was relentless, and the city was surrounded, leaving no escape. For the next 2.5 years, he was held in captivity by enemy forces, subjected to unimaginable torture and physical and psychological abuse. Despite the horrific conditions, Yevhenii’s spirit remained unbroken, his resilience unwavering, as he found the strength to survive and hold onto hope, knowing that his sacrifice was part of something much larger.
We aim to raise $50,000 to provide essential support, rehabilitation, and services to Ukrainian veterans. Your donation will go directly to their medical treatment, prosthetics, mental health support, and more. Every contribution helps rebuild their lives.
Help bring 27 Ukrainian veterans from the battlefield to London. They'll play golf with UK football legends, present Boris Johnson with the Freedom Award, and share their stories with world leaders.
