A professional lawyer with a passion for photography and cinematography, Taras enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the very first day of the invasion in 2022, leaving behind a successful career to defend his country's sovereignty.
Taras serves in the ‘Achilles’ drone systems regiment, playing an integral role in Ukraine's defence. His expertise in technology and his determination in combat complement his artistic roots.
Before the war, Taras was an accomplished photographer, cinematographer, yachtsman, and golf enthusiast who pioneered fashion and celebrity photography in Ukraine, working with top magazines and brands. Even as a soldier he keeps his camera close — documenting the harsh realities of the war and the resilience of those who serve.
